Hair Loss Treatment For Men

Hair loss in men has various causes, although according to Bernstein Medical, hair loss is generally caused by genetics. Just as there are various causes of hair loss, the same variety applies to hair loss treatments. Options range for natural products such as NISIM, FDA approved medications, low-level laser therapy and camouflage techniques.

Every hair loss treatment for men has its own positives and benefits (and associated success rates). Some FDA approved drugs are not that hard on the budget and they can be obtained without prescription. If a man is in the early stages of hair loss, his taking of these medications can further slow down hair loss. The disadvantage, however, of this treatment is that the effect of intake takes at least six months.

Herbal hair loss treatments, like FDA approved medications, are also very affordable and they can also be purchased on health and hygiene sections of supermarkets and department stores. Its limitation is that its effectiveness is not backed up by scientific evidences. A better solution is to go for a natural product like NISIM that has been backed by scalp biopsy studies. Test cases show that more than 85% of tested subjects experienced an increase in hair count of at least 30% with this product.

Moving up the price scale we have low-level laser therapy (also called photo bio-therapy). For this hair loss treatment for men, the laser lights promote cell growth. The studies based on it prove that it is more effective on thinning areas compared to those that are bland. One of its benefits is that you can see the results in a reasonably quick manner. Furthermore, it can be accomplished on the doctor's clinic or at your home using the home version.

At the other end of the permanence scale we have the camouflage technique. It is the simplest solution but can also be quite expensive. Toupees, wigs, and hats are can be costly but they can also give you a new hairstyle depending on your mood. And finally, there is the cheapest method of all – total baldness. Constant shaving of the head is very easy to do and comes at the cost of a razor. It is also a fashion statement that is no longer frowned upon as it was a few decades ago. If you want a good example, Google Heston Blumenthal for a modern look of no hair with glasses.
